Minor FileCloud for Outlook Release

If you are logging into Outlook using SSO through Google Chrome, you must disable Local Network Access Checks.
To disable Local Network Access Checks in Chrome:

  1. Enter the web address:
    chrome://flags/#local-network-access-check

  2. Change the setting for Local Network Access Checks to Disabled.

  3. Restart Google Chrome.

Release enhancements and fixes:

  • A new Upload and Share option enables users to upload a local file or folder to their remote FileCloud system. Once uploaded, the file or folder is automatically attached as a share link in an email.

  • When a user uploaded a file to a read-only folder, the operation became unresponsive and no error message was shown to the user. This has been fixed; now the error message You do not have permissions to upload to [folder path] folder is shown.

  • An issue causing FileCloud for Outlook to display incomplete folder names has been fixed.

  • A vulnerability related to the node-forge packet was fixed.
