FileCloud Desktop for Windows Release 23.252.0

This release moves FileCloud Desktop for Windows from beta status to production (general availability) status.

To apply these enhancements and fixes, please update FileCloud Desktop from Windows using the link at the Additional Downloads page on the FileCloud website.

Release enhancements:

  • The right-click options menu for files and folders in Team Folders and Shared with Me in Windows Explorer now includes a Direct link option that enables users to copy the share link and send it to other users.

Release bug fixes:

  • The error message File Not Found Error was received after users logged in to FileCloud for Office. This has been fixed.

  • An issue causing FileCloud Desktop to time out while uploading files has been fixed.

  • When a user ended a FileCloud Desktop session, if the user's login method was changed from username/password to 2FA, and the user tried to log in to FileCloud Desktop again, FileCloud showed username/password fields and failed to log in. This has been fixed.
