Azure Blob Storage Based Network Folders

Administrators can integrate an Azure Blob Storage container with FileCloud Server to allow users access to this data inside FileCloud Server portals and clients.

What is Azure Blob Storage?

Azure Blob Storage is cloud storage for the internet.

To upload your data (photos, videos, documents etc.), first create a Blob Storage container in an Azure Region, then upload any number of objects to the bucket.

Working with Azure Blob Storage

warning   There are a few limitations you should know about using Azure Blob Storage network folders

  1. No versioning support (Version key will be ignored and file will be overwritten)

  2. Real-time network sync and indexed search are not supported (regular file search will work)

For preview and edit to work correctly when you use Azure Blob Storage for Network Folders, in the Azure CORS settings, for the value of Allowed origins, enter the exact URLs that will be accessing the objects. (Do not enter *.)
